This extra long tanto is made from carbon steel and has a comfortable handle made from a striking purple stabilized burl. I decided not to do my file work on the spine, which leaves it with a sleek and clean look. This blade has been properly heat treated creating a piece that is extremely durable and strong. I finish off all blades with a leather strop to ensure a razor sharp edge. Handmade and individually molded leather sheath with a built-in belt loop included.
