Quarterly Round Up: The Gordian Booth

Check out what I’ve been up to over the last few months and the shows I’ve attended.

Badger Knife Show

I had attended this show in 2024 to see what it was like and I was really excited to be part of it as a vendor this year. This 3 day show is one of the only knife shows that is local to me in the Midwest, so I had been waiting for this show. It’s hosted by the Badger Knife Club and has over 150 tables of strictly knife items. I met so many makers that have been in this craft for decades and ones that just started, so it was fun to share knowledge and tips. This is the show for knife collectors as there truly is something for all different style preferences and is even fun to walk around and browse even if knives aren’t your thing. For all the makers out there, this is a great place to pick up some materials and build new friendships. I’ll definitely be back next year!

Midwest Pagtitipon

This was my second year at North Shore Academy of Martial Arts in Libertyville, IL for the third annual Midwest Pagtitipon show in April. The event not only featured knife vendors with items for sale, it was also a full weekend martial arts seminar. In addition to being extremely entertaining to watch, it was great to see the discipline and hard work of everyone there. If you are considering joining a martial arts academy, this is the one! I appreciated the opportunity to be part of this amazing event and look forward to being back next year!
